Rehabilitation Center

The heart and soul of St. Mary’s new campus is the Dr. Burton Grebin Rehabilitation Center. Named for the pioneer who revolutionized care for children with special needs, the Center continues Dr. Grebin’s legacy with 12,000 square feet of enhanced indoor therapy areas to help children foster personal achievement and regain independence.

The unique Municpal Credit Union Outdoor Rehab Track enables children to navigate sidewalks, stop signs, and even a few bumps in the road, well before they actually are ready to leave the Hospital.

The RGL Group Aquatic Therapy Center enables children to incorporate the benefits of the properties of water into their physical therapy program, allowing for nearly-weightless movement and mobility.

An Activities of Daily Living suite helps children and their families prepare for life at home with community reintegration training prior to discharge.

Advanced Neuro-Rehabilitation equipment utilizing robotic exoskeletons and video game technology helps to improve outcomes for children with brain injury and neurological conditions.
