A Message from Howard Lutnick

Dear Friends,

9/11 will forever be seared in the hearts of all Americans, and Cantor Fitzgerald will always be indelibly linked to the attacks. My firm lost 658 of our 960 New York employees that day, literally everyone who was at work on the top five floors of 1 World Trade Center.

Out of the Clear Blue Sky is a powerful new documentary by award-winning filmmaker Danielle Gardner, whose brother and my dear friend Doug perished that day. Her behind-the-scenes story of the disaster that struck Cantor Fitzgerald is a saga of heartbreak and renewal among the surviving employees and the families who lost their loved ones, and of Cantor Fitzgerald’s unprecedented rebuilding.

I hope you will be able to see Out of the Clear Blue Sky during its run at the Regal Union Square Theater in New York, beginning September 6. Danielle will be on hand for a Q&A after the early evening screening.

Out of the Clear Blue Sky also will be featured in a special one-night screening at selected theaters nationwide on September 11 (Screening Location List).

Please feel free to share this note with friends who might wish to know about this film.
