Art345 Event

Congratulations and a big thank you to our friends at Art345 on the success of the opening of their latest exhibit, From Color to Light.

Art345, in collaboration with Eckert Fine Art, presented its new and almost final exhibition of paintings and sculptures From Color to Light, with a public reception and an art event on May 7th to benefit St. Mary’s Kids.  Our wonderful and talented friends raised $4000 from the silent auction alone – with beautiful artwork donated by each exhibiting artist.

The art opening included live music and wine to benefit St. Mary’s Art & Music Therapy Program through a silent auction and sales of art works during the exhibit.

Curated by Jane Coats Eckert of Eckert Fine Art and Paul Ching Bor, guests had the unique opportunity to visit the art studios floors and witness the artists’ creative process! These alchemists of color and light, an international collective of artists, create moving visions that captivate the viewer and illuminate reality.

Following this unique experience, starting in the summer 2015, the building will be transformed into contemporary lofts.

The Art Beat 345 NYC is an international transient artist collective working at this immense art space in pursuit of discovering new and evocative approaches essentially in watercolor painting. These Alchemists of Color and Light work in harmony and inspire each other allowing the mysterious surprises of water, color, personal vision and deep emotion to co-mingle into moving visions of transcendent realities. Love and Light.

For the first time, this exhibit is curated by Jane Coats Eckert of Eckert Fine Art and Paul Ching-Bor. Jane Coats Eckert is an art consultant, curator and art dealer. She is a member of the Fine Art Dealers Association and Chair of the Director’s Advisory Council at Mass Moca.  Paul is an internationally acclaimed artist working essentially with watercolor on paper. He teaches at the Art Students League of New York.
