Independent Home Care Contractor Opportunities
Join the St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children home rehabilitation community in an independent contractor capacity with St. Mary’s Home Care, a special needs certified home health agency (CHHA). Providing care for patients from newborn to 44 years of age, St. Mary’s home care focuses on improving their quality of life from the comfort of home.

During the visit, they explored the farm, learned about a variety of herbs and flowers, and even picked some themselves. Experiences like these play an important role in fostering independence, encouraging sensory engagement, strengthening social skills, and building meaningful connections within the community.

Celebrating 16 years of participation at Molloy University’s Annual Edith Richner Palliative Care Conference! On June 5th, 2026, St. Mary’s interdisciplinary team members, as well as Doula volunteers, joined other healthcare professionals to learn, connect, and explore the latest approaches to providing compassionate, family centered care.
This year Danielle Toto, LMSW, Social Work Supervisor presented a poster on Expanding Pediatric Palliative Care in the NYS Children’s Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver program and the services it provides to enhance quality of life and help children remain safely in the community.
Marianne Muzic, LCSW, APHSW-C, Doula and Compassionate Care Program Manager presented on the St. Mary’s Compassionate Care Pathway and the importance of pediatric Doula’s.
