Karter was born at 24 weeks, weighing just 1lb and 6oz. He came into this world putting up a fight, determined to make it through every obstacle he faced. Currently, Karter lives at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital, where they give him the best care possible regarding his tracheotomy and feeding tube. He is a bright, energetic, and gleeful little boy who can’t help but make you smile when you see him. The staff at St. Mary’s are constantly in awe of his determined spirit and are so proud of everything he has accomplished thus far.
