In these unprecedented times, every single staff member of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children has heroically risen to the challenge. As you can imagine, medically complex children are especially vulnerable to infectious disease. Day in and day out, our staff continues to provide St. Mary’s Kids with the highest level of protection and exceptional care.
St. Mary’s staff is honored to have such dedicated people on our team and wanted to share a few ways they have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients. Meet a few of our countless St. Mary’s Healthcare Superheroes:
Joanne Bodden
Joanne and her team partnered with acute pediatric care hospitals and safely secured and transitioned 15 new patients and families during this crisis.
R. Zhang
RZ has been a nurse at St. Mary’s for over 13 years. In addition to providing heroic care to our children during this crisis, she recently donated 100 N95 masks to St. Mary’s to help keep our staff and kids safe during these difficult times.
Christine Pedersen
St. Mary’s Music Therapist has found a creative way to bring joy to our children who are unable at this time to physically attend programs. She has been engaging with families via weekly Facebook Live music therapy sessions.
Heather Gallagher
In addition to taking extraordinary measures to ensure the health and safety of our children and employees, Heather, an RN Supervisor has been working tirelessly to increase our nursing staff during this crisis.
