For over a decade, Claire Mahon has been a familiar and friendly face at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Claire’s journey with St. Mary’s began in 2014 as a student intern in Inpatient Recreation, and since then, her passion and dedication have only grown. From her early days as a per diem team member in the Medical Day Healthcare Program to her current role as Lead Therapeutic Activities Assistant, Claire has continuously demonstrated her unwavering commitment to creating engaging and enriching experiences for our young adults, children, and their families. Over the years, Claire has witnessed St. Mary’s growth and transformation, and she takes pride in being part of a team that continually evolves to meet the needs of the children and families it serves.
This year, we are proud to honor Claire Mahon as the 2025 Big Hearts Walk for St. Mary’s Kids Honoree—a true champion for our children and a testament to the power of compassion, dedication, and the unwavering belief that every child deserves a life filled with joy.
