St. Mary’s Evaluation Team offers comprehensive English, bilingual, and diagnostic (including Autism Spectrum Disorders), multi-disciplinary evaluations. Our team of education professionals makes use of various assessment tools that identify areas of strength and areas of need and are used to determine eligibility for the Committee on Preschool Special Education Program.
Evaluations are conducted on site at our Bayside campus or in the community. Evaluators can visit the family or caregiver’s residence, and/or the child’s preschool or day care setting. We provide CPSE evaluations in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and on Long Island.
