Nursing
St. Mary’s highly skilled pediatric nurses work alongside family members and other clinicians to help children heal, grow, and regain their independence. Our compassionate nursing staff receive specialized training to care for children with complex medical needs at home or at the Hospital.
St. Mary’s family-centered approach to care ensures that families are involved in every step of the care planning process. In addition to providing exceptional care to children, our nursing staff regularly work with family members to educate them on care techniques, goals, and expectations.
St. Mary’s nursing staff are specially trained to care for traumatic brain injuries, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, burn/wound care, osteopenia, chronic illness, congenital disorders, and other medically complex conditions.
