Friends of St. Mary’s Committee Raise Significant Funds at ‘Believe in Possible’ Event

The Friends of St. Mary’s Committee – a group of young professionals from the New York real estate, finance, construction, legal, and marketing industries – have successfully hosted Believe in Possible to raise funds and awareness for children with special needs at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children. The well-attended event held at Pergola in New York City raised close to $14,000 to support programs and services for children with medically complex conditions, including the renowned Center for pediatric Feeding Disorders. The Center offers the only interdisciplinary feeding program in New York State, and is one of only a handful in the country, to help diagnose and treat feeding disorders in children.

Over 100 young professionals attended the event where guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, a photo booth, and a raffle. Sponsors included Tishman Construction, Smith Engineering, Turner Construction, Clune Construction, the Farkas Family, KM Associates of NY, the Case Family, Second language Design, Pergola, 57 West Dermatology, Amanda Bohorquez Photography and URLife,.

The Friends of St. Mary’s Committee is dedicated to serving St. Mary’s mission of improving the health and quality of life for children and families with special healthcare needs. They accomplish this by hosting various fundraising and networking events where members can network, exchange ideas, and contribute to each other’s success. Special thanks to the entire committee for their unwavering dedication to St. Mary’s.

Proceeds from Believe in Possible will help advance St. Mary’s mission of improving the health and quality of life for children and families with special healthcare needs
