St. Mary’s Kids were treated to a fun-filled holiday party recently when volunteers from Clear Channel Outdoor brought Santa Claus and a load of gifts and toys to St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. The event was a great way to spread holiday cheer to the young patients—all of whom are facing complex medical and life-limiting conditions due to serious illness, injury or complications of premature birth.
Harry Coghlan, President and General Manager of Clear Channel Outdoor and Board Director of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children donned an authentic Santa Claus suit for the event, and with a jolly laugh spent time greeting each child and posing for photos. In addition to having some one-on-one time with Santa the children worked alongside the Clear Channel volunteers to make customized holiday cards for their loved ones, many cards featured Polaroids the children took with Santa.
