Garden City Park Animal Hospital Brings Karaoke to St. Mary’s Kids

Garden City Park Animal Hospital’s (GCPAH) Practice Manager, Sioux Sciacca and staff hosted a post Valentine’s Day karaoke party with patients at St. Mary’s Hospital for children.

GCPAH staff and St. Mary’s Kids enjoyed an afternoon of songs and dance as they filled the room with sounds of Karaoke from hip hop to rock to pop music.

The event was hosted in St. Mary’s new Music environment designed to provide patients with rehabilitation of the body and soul through music. Equipped with a Karaoke area, DJ booth, recording studio, iPod download station, music star memorabilia and much more, St. Mary’s Kids enjoy singing along to their favorite songs, keeping up with the latest scoop in the music world and expressing themselves in a magical place where they can be whoever they want to be.

Sioux and the Garden City Park Animal Hospital recently learned about St. Mary’s Hospital for Children and immediately were inspired to get involved and learn more about St. Mary’s extraordinary kids whom battle complex medical and life-limiting conditions due to serious illness, injury and complications of premature birth.

“It was truly amazing and we can’t to do it again,” said Sioux.
