East Coast Car Association Hosts 14th Annual Toys for Tots Car Run

Despite the remnants of Hurricane Sandy and all the obstacles residents are facing after this unprecedented storm, members of the East Coast Car Association came out in full force for the 14th Annual Toys for Tots bearing early holiday presents for the young patients of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children.

It was a bright and sunny day at St. Mary’s, but the day became even brighter when car lovers revved their engines and honked their horns to make their special entrance to meet and greet St. Mary’s Kids, their cars filled with an assortment of toys and gifts. St. Mary’s Kids anxiously awaited their arrival!

The annual Toys for Tots Car Run, sponsored and founded by East Coast Cars, was created in 1999 to deliver the joys of the holiday to children of St. Mary’s battling complex medical and life-limiting conditions.

The East Coast Car Association has been committed to helping improve the quality of life for children and families with special needs at St. Mary’s through in-kind donations, car shows, cruise nights and the annual Toys for Tots run. The group named a patient room in St. Mary’s new patient pavilion and is a supporter of St. Mary’s “We Believe in Music” Campaign.
