Valentino’s Top Pastry Chef Hosts Valentines Cupcake Decorating Day at St. Mary’s

Lauren Ragone Donates Cupcakes and Decorations to Help St. Mary’s Kids Join in Valentines Day Festivities

Valentines Day is one of the most precious times of the year when loved ones take the opportunity to tell or show one another how much they care.

Lauren Ragone found a special way to show the young patients of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, how much they really mean to her.

Lauren, a renowned pastry chef at Valentino’s Restaurant in Bayside, hosted a special Valentines cupcake decorating day for St. Mary’s kids, some of New York’s most seriously ill and injured children battling complex medical and life-limiting conditions.

Lauren baked the scrumptious cupcakes at the restaurant, donated all the materials needed to decorate them, and hosted a fun day for St. Mary’s kids, helping them join in the spirit of Valentines Day.

Lauren is an avid supporter of St. Mary’s, one of the region’s premiere providers of post-acute pediatric care for children and families with special needs, and enjoys doing something special for her friends at the hospital. Most of all, Laurens say’s she enjoys watching St. Mary’s kids smile.

Lauren is already planning her next visit for St. Patty’s Day and looks forward to another day of candies, sprinkles and icing- all the goodies St. Mary’s kids can’t get enough of.
